Pastor Bob Hoekstra was the founder and Director of Living in Christ Ministries. He and his wife, Dini, were married in 1966 and he began serving in full-time ministry in 1967. Bob graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1973 with a Master of Theology degree, serving fourteen years in Dallas, Texas, and eleven years at Calvary Chapel of Irvine, California. Living in Christ Ministries also operated as the teaching and discipling arm of International Prison Ministry, founded in 1972 by Bob's father, Chaplain Ray Hoekstra. Bob became director of International Prison Ministry at his father’s home-going in 1997. The Hoekstras raised three children and were blessed with thirteen grandchildren. Pastor Bob entered his eternal dwelling place to meet his Creator on December 20, 2011.
